Maintenance of Computle Infrastructure
Computle maintains and patches the infrastructure under your workstations: the hypervisors, networking equipment, routers, firewalls and other Computle equipment. Maintenance and upgrades are handled in house by Computle.
How patches are chosen
Section titled “How patches are chosen”Vulnerability management tools scan Computle’s infrastructure and applications continuously. When vendor updates and patches are released, Computle evaluates and prioritises them by severity and potential impact, then applies them.
What happens to a workstation
Section titled “What happens to a workstation”Notification. A user signed in to a workstation is told when its host is about to be patched.

Restart. Maintenance on the hypervisor can restart the workstation. Save your work when the notice appears.
Monitoring and recovery
Section titled “Monitoring and recovery”Computle monitors every workstation. If a workstation stops responding, Computle restarts it automatically and checks that it returns to service. If recovery does not bring it back, a support ticket is opened automatically and the contacts listed under Users > Support Contacts in the Computle Portal are notified. See Health.
